The Agricultural Cooperative of Pelion and North Sporades (COPIL) was found in the year 1952 and is the continuation of Union’s Agricultural Cooperative of Pelion and North Sporades with the merging of the first member of Agricultural Cooperation. It is an excellently organized and fully manned secondary agricultural associative organization with great experience and knowledge in the field of its activities.
In the geographic center of Greece and in the eastern end of Thessalia a verdant mountainous ''peninsula'' overflows and separates the turbulent Aegean Sea from the sedentary Pagasitikos gulf.
The peninsula is the “Centaur’s mountain, mountains' pride and joy”, Mount Pelion.
