In the geographic center of Greece and in the eastern end of Thessalia a verdant mountainous ''peninsula'' overflows and separates the turbulent Aegean Sea from the sedentary Pagasitikos gulf.
The peninsula is the “Centaur’s mountain, mountains' pride and joy”, Mount Pelion.
The geophysical extension of Mount Pelion granted the sea of Aegeus a fistful of emeralds, the Isles of the North Sporades.
The winds of the sea and the warmth of the gulf, along with the highly-praised soil, is where the blessed crops are produced: the olives, apples, pears, and all the other treasures which nature so richly granted the people of this land.
